A bird in a cage. But which is real and which is imaginary?
Cuckoo Cage is a hilarious short film which our team conceived, cast, produced, scored, and edited in a matter of 24 hours for a 24-hour film festival in 2007.
It is presented here for you to laugh at. Mirthfully. None of that malevolent, judgmental laughter will be tolerated.
While some aspects of the film betray our inexperience with the art of film making, you can also make out distinct signs of emerging genius on the screen. (On the other hand, that might be the high-def leaking out.) Watch it now and when we’re famous you can proudly say, “I was experiencing their work long before the rest of the world joined in the agony!”
And we can all have a laugh at your expense.

Sorry this is about 12 hours later than I originally hoped... Blame the darn encoder for being stupid.
Actually, I'm still not 100% satisfied with the quality of the video encoding, but what can I do...?
Anyway, check it out and see what you think. Hopefully the streaming version isn't too blocky for your tastes. Download the iPod version if the streaming version isn't rockin' enough for you.

Still Love It
Is still love the scene with the girl with the many names. She and Quartz are so funny/cute together.
But, on the other hand, the other girl does such an awesome job of smacking herself.

I think that's the first time I saw the whole film, including Name Girl. It's a lot of fun. I love the film, and especially the music and the performances of the bird boy and tuxedo guy.
The music was definitely the stand-out.
