What happens when you wander too far off the beaten path?

Finally!

I only announced this short film three weeks ago, but it seems like an eternity to me. It took us 25 days from start to finish to complete this film, (including 10 days to render the CGI) and it's quite possibly the coolest thing our team has ever accomplished.

So go ahead and watch it, get excited because it's way more awesome than you expected, then put a copy on your iPod and share it with all your friends.

Of course I have too much to say about a project this huge. The sheer volume of language becomes meaningless. So for once I'll just let the finished product speak for itself.

I want to go to that place. Although it looks a bit dangerous. I love the music, the CG is unbelievable! The title lettering is a true work of art, and the Explorer is just TOO handsome!

My only critique. I know it's not your style but maybe have the behind the scenes as a separate clip

Magic is more than something that you see. Magic is something you feel. It's like the feeling you get when you hear that certain song or see that one person...that's real magic.

It was amazingly well done guys. It's really awesome to see what effects you can do with that little wall of green . I thought the set was bigger (ie when Fopsworth was just wandering around). Amazing everything. I must also give you all mass kudos

Looks like I forgot to put a copyright notice in the video. It's fixed now, and I managed to significantly improve the quality of the iPod video download. (So, if you downloaded the iPod video already, you should delete it and re-download it.)

I'm also thinking about posting a blog entry about the video, so if anybody can think of any questions or bits about the video that interest them, feel free to ask here so I can talk about it in the blentry.

The first few seconds of it just draw you in, the way a proper film should. Peter and Gabe did a awesome job on this, and Alex did an equally good job in his producing. I must say, this is quite a step forward for the Malex Media Network. I'm excited to see what turns out next.

Fyi, Cuckoo Cage doesn't really have any eye candy. It's a short film we produced a while back as a standalone comedy short.

Hopefully funny, but not exactly visually impressive.
