The Complete Series...

Hey, everybody; check this out! For the first time, the complete TUAoMaI series is available for your collection in one 202-page Ebook!

This volume contains the entire classic series. Originally released at MaI-Adventures.com during 2004 and 2005, this serialized comedy has been described by critics and fans alike as: "hilarious", "endearing", "delightfully insane", "mind wrenching", and "probably written by a pair of illiterate gerbils on crack". At least, we suspect that's what they were thinking when they all died.

Fear not, brave reader! You shall not perish at the hands of the insanity - assuming, of course, that you laugh at regular intervals and take your medicine.

What is it that makes this book great? Is it the cussing laptop? Could it be the shotgun-wielding bunny? Of course, it might be the crazy old man who won't stop until our main characters are dead. Whatever supposedly makes this book great, we sure as heck aren't able to find it...

Seriously though, what makes this volume better than the internet version?

For one thing, the extra content, like plenty of full-color pictures, illustrated notes from the authors, seven pages of character information, and other stuff we forgot to mention!

If that's not a good enough reason to shell out your hard-earned cash, how about the fact that this book is available now for the lowest price in history?

The original paperbacks sold for $14.99 due to the high cost of materials and labor. However, we at the Malex Media Network are always looking to improve our customers' experience. So now, almost two years after the first episode was released, we're making this ebook available for the insanely low price of $6.00!

Ah, you've read all the way down to this point? What a trooper! If you're interested in a copy of the book, just click the link below to be taken to Bitpass - our partners in secure content delivery.

If you have any questions or comments at all, please contact Malex, or use one of our customer support channels.

Sample:

Malex finally snapped. "So can Linus and I stay with you or not?!"

Icepunk looked confused. "Why not? This whole time I've been under the impression that I was never going to get rid or you."

"Well, yeah..." Malex was obviously confused.

"Are you offering to leave?" Icepunk seemed hopeful.

"Not really, no."

"Oh well. Some other time, perhaps."

Somehow, I don't think that's the right word.

No, no...

That's a perfectly reasonable concern. Considering the sheer volume of disaster that tags along with us at all times. :-P

Malex's picture

Sadly, no. She is out of print.

Our paperbacks were costing us quite a pretty penny, so we had to crank our prices up far too high. So the books sold very poorly, and when we ran out I terminated our agreement with the printing press.

Equally unfortunately, since Bitpass disintegrated, we can no longer sell the ebook through them.

I'm hoping to come up with a new user-friendly method soon, but it might be some time. In the mean-time, if you did want the ebook, we could probably work something out.

That's a shame. I've tried eBooks, but to me, it's not the same as reading long stories off of paper.

One of these days..

Malex's picture

One of these days I'll go through, fix whatever errors we can find in TUAoMaI v1.0, and reprint it using a much more reasonably-priced method.

I imagine John and I could probably even write a suitable conclusion to the cliffhanger at the end of season one in the form of a short story or some-such and tack that on to the end.

Hehehe...

Quartz's picture

Well it’s easiest to accomplish by writing a computer program, but it’s possible to do manually / with pencil and paper.

It was just a little joke I made up. :D And it was for a really narrow audience too, because obviously most people aren’t going to be able to decipher it.

All you need is an ASCII chart. Wikipedia can probably help if there happen to be parts you don’t understand.

But basically you take the two groups of text that I provided and use the ASCII chart to write them in binary. So now you have two long strings of ones and zeroes. A bulean OR operation is where you take a digit from one string and a digit from the other string. If either of them are one, then the digit in your new string should be one. If both are zero, then the digit in your new string should be zero.

You do that with the first digit of both strings I provide, and the second digit, etc.

Then use the ASCII chart again to convert your new binary string to text – it should be the same length as one of the original ones I provided.

I think for a while I had the two strings incorrectly posted in my signature, and then I fixed them… @-D :P I’m pretty sure the signature in my comments on this particular thread were after I fixed it, so you should be good.

And lastly… You don’t have to decipher it if you don’t want to, obviously. It was a silly joke, really… :D

Yes, the top secret message reads, "'Made'ja look! :P". I think we can all move on to more important things now, can we not? :-D

Btw, welcome to the site, PiRsquared! I hope you stick around and find some of the more interesting things our site has to offer. ;)
