This is a dancy version of the music that I wrote for "Justice And His Legendary March Against Evil: Part One". (Our first short film.) It's the first song I wrote using FLStudio, which I bought because Buzz was starting to limit me.
The idea, when I wrote the score for that short film, was to come up with a 'theme' (as it were) for each character, and a 'theme' for the film itself. The goal was for these 'themes' to all fit together like clockwork, so I could flow the music in much the same way that the film itself flowed.
While I was showing off the score to Icepunk, I explained the process, and pointed out that the heavily distorted guitar lead was his character's theme. At that point he began chanting: "My theme is cooler than your theme!". My response? "Just wait 'till next time old boy. Just you wait.". And that put an end to that.
