I am going to take a temporary break from this website for reasons I do not wish to state. This may last a few weeks to a few months. I'm sorry. Bye.

BookClub.

I want to start a Book Club! Who's with me? :D This is my idea for how it would work. We would all meet somewhere to hangout and decide on the book then we would all read that book in a month and meet again to discuss it and decide on a new book! This is still a rough idea. Your support and your ideas would be heartily welcomed! =D

URGENT NOTICE!!!!!!!

I'm REALLY SORRY EVERYBODY!! I made a mistake when I looked at the time for the movie on Tuesday. I looked at last Tuesday's time. The earliest time on the 19th is 3:00. This means that (if it still works) we don't have to meet for lunch until 12 ... then we can maybe go to Barnes and Nobel or Cold Stone or something until the movie starts. I'm really sorry about that, guys :-(

One Last Word

I didn't know if this counted as silly or serious. I think it counts as serious though hypothetical.

A hypothetical question:

You are dying. In whatever situation, for whatever reason. There is only one person with you. You can trust that person to convey a message for you. You only have a few minutes left on this earth. What would that final message be?

:D

Acting.

Hey, all! I just wanted to let you guys know that I'll be auditioning for an acting part next Monday in a play by the, "Thistledown Young Actors Theater."

The play is, "Alice in Wonderland" And I have no idea what part to try out for, and how auditioning works, so please pray for me with that! ;) (Keep your fingers crossed, 'cause luck has nothing to do with it.)

Thanks all, and I'll let you know how it turns out! :P

Collision course

Check this out for positive proof that America is on a collision course with itself. This woman is in trouble with the law for improperly disposing of her unborn child after she had a miscarriage. Apparently she thought her drug use may have caused the miscarriage and was afraid she'd get into trouble for accidentally causing the death of her unborn child.

Lilly in the UK, for real.

Pretty much everyone knows this but I just thought I'd make it official.

I'm leaving this friday (July 25th) for a mission trip to London, England. I'll have a week of training camp in Scotland where I'll meet my team and camp out in tents. The week after we'll drive down to London. The paperwork I have says I will "Serve in a drop-in coffee bar, give out clothes and food to the homeless, help with practical work in a local church and do street evangelism in the west end of London."

Goodbye

Today, I want to say goodbye to a man who was very famous during my formative years. George Carlin, a comedian being described in the press as "edgy," "provocative," and "radical," has passed away at age 71. This man, who in truth was only average as a comedian, earned the title "the dean of counterculture comedians" in 1972 when his filthy "routine saw him arrested for obscenity in 1972 at a comedy festival in Milwaukee." (-AFP) This filthy routine became a "must listen to" at parties when I was 15 years old.
