Weird Star Trek Hippies and new Big O Obama Sign

Okay, maybe I'm "Herbert" but who else noticed link between the Weird Star Trek episode and the new Big O Obama sign? See http://hotair.com/archives/2008/08/08/beam-me-up-obama/

As a card carrying Trekker, I have to say this episode with the hippies is probably the second worst ST episode (with "Spock's Brain being even funnier/worst). I am laughing hysterically, or should I be shivering with delight like some in the old media? I really do hope we see this at the convention!

Caution--On second thought, if you are a minor, get permission before checking out those links. I noticed a few comments were not too polite. Sorry...

"Headin' Out To Eden"

Here is the song "Headin' Out To Eden" from that Star Trek episode. Speaking of promising pie in the sky, I think the Annointed One's disciples could adopt that song as well...

Yeah, Brother "O"--We Reach!

Yeah, brother, it really, really was a bad Star Trek episode—and that song almost makes me physically ill. However, the episode did truthfully show the end results of those who believe that man is basically good, and man's efforts alone can create utopia on earth. Even in the fictional Star Trek world, utopianism almost provoked a war, and destroyed those simpletons who followed the charismatic leader. Do "we reach?"

A little advice from the gnome (who was roamin' and is now back home) - know what God's word says, weigh men's words against those of God and go with the being whose book has been in print since writing was developed.

The Migisi is hilarious.
