I drew it for a friend awhile back...I don't really know what the character says, he requested that I draw it and showed me what it looked like...but I don't know what is says...I'll look it up eventually...

This character is named Fox, according to my friend that’s what he named it. I did this about almost half a year ago. So it’s not that resent. I have another one...but it’s not scanned...I could post if you want...I also used to take request on GaiaOnline.com. But then school caught up with me...

Hmm... I see. It isn't I problem as far as I can imagine, but the thing is that, usually, when people stop commenting on a thread, it's because there's nothing more to say about it, and no ammount of "bumping" would change that, as far as I can imagine (again).

But, there are some people who don't get on very often, and thus take a while to respond to things. Sometimes when everyone has already said everything they have to say on a certain thread, that person will come along late, and comment, thus completely reopening the discussion. But, as I'm sure you can see, "bumping" isn't the cause of such a resurrection...

So, basically, I don't see the point.

It's alright. It's just kind of a joke. Before Malex fixed the comment strings permenantly they would sometimes get squashed against the side and be almost unreadable. And I took it upon myself to "fix" them whenever that happened. Now they're fixed permenantly and I was out of a job. Then I became a mod. So now I go around "cleaning" the comment strings by deleting unwanted posts. It's not important, just funny.

I looked up "chibi" on Wikipedia and found that it refers to a particular style of animation. A known character, Link, for instance, might be represented in a baby-like form known as Chibi Link. (I'm picturing Baby Daffy and Baby Bugs). But here's the link. You can look it up for yourselves. Wiki article

Also, I've printed a copy of the picture you drew, Rufas, and I'm taking it along with my Chinese dictionary to Foppy's fencing tournament today. Hopefully, I'll have a minute (or several) to look it up.

I was not able to find that character in my Chinese dictionary. It may be that the character is exclusively Japanese. That might account for its strangeness to me. Or it could just be one of the less common characters that is not in any of my dictionaries. It would help, perhaps if I could see a clearer picture of it.

Rufas, may I email a link to the picture to a Chinese penpal of mine to see if she can translate it for me?
