By the by, welcome to the anti-Communist Malex Media Network!
I must ask, however, what your username means. It looks like your picture is of a Dance-Dance Revolution Pad, but that doesn't really expplain anything.
As for your music, I would readily listen to it and offer my opinion, but I'm using my bedroom computer, which has a white list on the Internet connection, restricting me to our server. I'll have to do it later on the livingroom computer.

I'm really liking this! There are several moments that really capture my attention as I listen. (And I keep listening over and over.)
--> I like when the bass first comes in. (starts during second 19) The rhythm is very compelling.
--> I like the closed hat / shaker thing. (starts at second 33) It really fills in the percussion.
--> I like the foreign-sounding lead that kicks in at 5 seconds.
--> I'm also a big fan of the creepy/spacey FX and pads. They really give the whole thing a soundtrack vibe.
I'm assuming that the track isn't yet finished? (The ending is a bit abrupt, and it seems like it could use some mastering...) It's a great start nontheless.
You know, a big source of info, critique, and advise for me when I was getting started was TastyFresh - The Christian Electronic Dance Music Community. I know it sounds a little bit weird, but it's for real. If you run your track by them, they might be able to give you more opinions. (Assuming, of course, that's what you want.)
Okay, I need to be sleeping right now, so I'll ttyl!

My username is from DDR (for most of the part) Well there is this song called The Legend of Max (LoM for short) and in the middle, it says "Go Fly" Then it speeds up REALLY fast.
My Icon is a Cobalt Flux one of the best dance pads avalible... ( I have one ^^) it really is one of the best things in the world.
Also, I recently discovered DDR but I only know one person who has it Whenever I see her, we play it, but I wish I had it too. My birthday is in two weeks, but I don't think anyone will buy it for me (and I'm totally broke ). Oh well

I listened to your song. I'm not very musically gifted so I can't give you a breakdown like Malex did, but let me say this; if you had/have an album out I'll buy it! And I'm not kidding.

The funeral was boring till the Irish dancers came in.
I am currently trying to remix a song (The Error Song) But its not syncing right I am trying to get it, if i do ill post it, and even if I don't i'll post it and you can see what off-syncness really sounds like
While I don't generally listen to ambient techno, "Rendered" was pretty decent for a first track. I remember my first tracks (the first year was the worst) were no where near as good. Ugh... the memories.
ACID is loop-based, right? Did you make the loops yourself?
The best way to figure out how a synth works is to take a patch, strip it down to the oscillators, and try to make your own version of it. Also, I would highly recommend buying The Dance Music Manual. It has about 500 pages on everything you need to know about making your own tracks, including how to make awesome synth patches.
I have a WK-3000 by Casio, i don't know if you could call it a hard-core KB synth but the one i REALLY want (and might buy as soon as i get the $$$) Is right Here It looks SOOOO schweet
(I like KB synths, are they the best? I am still new at this )
You should also look into the Access Virus series. I want an Virus C myself - it's been used in many trance records throughout the years. Tiesto actually published his Virus C soundbank.
Go Fly, these are both flipping amazing. I normally don't listen to much electronic music (MaLeX, 2 Unlimited, and Celldweller are notable exceptions), but I find this amazing. Unfortunately, my computer has virtually no capacity to generate bass, and so I cannot enjoy this music in it's intended glory.
BTW I'm sorry I haven't signed up for your site yet. Forgive me.
