The Real JFK's picture

So a couple of weeks ago I came across this vidio. They call themselves iBand and I liked the way there songs sounded. iBand is a group of three people that make music on two iPhones and one iPod Touch. The video that I am linking is their first song. instead of anaothe iPhone though, it is a DS using the game Electroplankton. Please comment and tell me what you think.

PS Yes this is my first forum topic in six months. Sorry it has been so long.

Mike- Hey Bob, you know what I hate?

Bob- What’s that Mike?

Mike- Giant Snakes that pop out of nowhere and kill ya.

Bob- You know, I hate those too.

“Crash.”

Random guard tower guy- Wow, good thing that was the guard tower next to us.

Interesting.

It sounded pretty cool at first, and the whole idea is pretty cool, but toward the end it seemed a little off-beat. ;) It could have just been the quality of the video. But it's pretty cool anyway. ;)

Cool

It sounds really sweet, but Leela's right, they are kinda off beat ;-)

Yeah...

The most noticeable off-beatness was toward the middle-ish-end when the guitar came in. The guitar seemed a bit too slow.

I wouldn't mention anything but I'm really into music stuff...and it really bugged me. ;) That's just me though.

Amazing!

I agree with the criticisms of the song, but at the same time, it kind of touched me. Musically, it was really nice. I found the tune kind of haunting. Maybe because of that, I felt a little haunted my man's indomitable spirit to create, even in this world (which often seems so alien to me). People will use whatever objects are available in their environment to make music. And pictures. It makes me very happy and gives me hope, while simultaneously reminding me of the impoverished condition of man.

Oops. Philosophical moment. Sorry!
