Collision course

SangMing's picture

Check this out for positive proof that America is on a collision course with itself. This woman is in trouble with the law for improperly disposing of her unborn child after she had a miscarriage. Apparently she thought her drug use may have caused the miscarriage and was afraid she'd get into trouble for accidentally causing the death of her unborn child. Consider the fact that this woman could have hired someone to murder the child and properly dispose of the body, and no questions would have been asked. Evidently, America finds tampering with evidence and improper treatment of a cadaver more offensive than murder. Note, also, the persistent use of the dehumanizing term "fetus" for the child.

Americans, what are we going to do about this?

Hmm

My opinion is that America will have neither reason nor means by which to change unless more people in the country find Christ.

Third Time Around

Take heart, Slushie and everyone; Read Third Time Around, by George Grant (read it free, here http://freebooks.entrewave.com/freebooks/docs/a_pdfs/ggtt.pdf ). I read it some years ago, and it encouraged me to keep on speaking up for what's right, no matter how long it takes. Justice may not happen in our lifetime, but we still need to continue to speak up for the littlest, weakest ones in our society.

It's true. The world is turned one heart at a time. Remember to speak out with love!

stuff like this!

Actually crap like this makes me so mad!

A.) they would have no problem with an abortion

B.) that a pregnant woman was using drugs that might have killed the child

C.) that no one gives a darn about the kid!

D.) What was she supposed to do with the body? Take the kid to the hospital and ask if he was ok?

E.) that they called the child "fetus" and never made the connection that he or she was a person! This makes me really angry. When I have kids I want to know asap if they're a boy or girl so i can choose a name and never ever ever call my children "it"

Baby!

My youngest sibling was a surprise. The doctors couldn't tell what gender she was so we all just called her "The Baby In Mommy's Belly". :)

A funny Baby Story

When my grandma was pregnant with my mom and her twin brother, the doctors tried very valiantly to convince her that she was only having one (very big) baby. She knew otherwise and tried very hard to explain that there were two babies kicking in opposite directions. The only equipment that the doctors had to back them up was that they could only hear one heartbeat. But that was because their hearts were beating at the exact same time ( <3 ). Then when my uncle was born, the doctor kinda walked over to my grandma in a state of minor shock and said, "Um, excuse me ma'am, but I think you have another baby in there." She said something to the effect of, "Gee, ya think so!!" X-D X-D X-D

Never an "it"

My youngest sibling was a surprise.

Babies often are. But Ais meant that the gender was unknown till the time of birth. That was also true of Malex, and Foppy. Well, Foppy we learned about a week before his birth that he was a he. But our babies were all "Jr.", or "Mini" or "The Baby" until we did know.

references

The gnome knows a family who referred to the expected child as "Ima" or "Itsa" and then the last name (Ima Morgan....Itsa Morgan), gender didn't need to be known so when someone said "oh, what is it?" (stupid question to begin with...) It's a Morgan.
