BookClub.
I want to start a Book Club! Who's with me? 
This is my idea for how it would work. We would all meet somewhere to hangout and decide on the book then we would all read that book in a month and meet again to discuss it and decide on a new book! This is still a rough idea. Your support and your ideas would be heartily welcomed! =D

I wanna do it! Weekends will be good cause my driver says she's heading home, ideally, every other weekend.
But where should we meet? Anyone have any ideas? And how about a starting book? Anyone have a book they would like to recommend?

My support
I don't think I can actually participate, but I can recommend books and help with transportation if needed and cookies and good feelings.

Pickerington?
It seems to me that Pickerington is a good compromise for most of our group to meet up there. I like the idea of a bookclub! I've never done it before but it sounds really fun! (And Sangming, I wouldn't mind some cookies!

Okay, here is my idea. We meet on the 21st, a Sunday, at 6:00 at a cafe or Barnes & Noble or something to discuss the details and what book to start off with. We could maybe do dinner and discuss it over that. Feel free to throw in you comments, suggestions, and complaints!!

Books!
Barnes & Nobel might be good just cause we're surrounded by books!
We could get ideas and, if someone doesn't have the book we choose to read, they can buy it right away.
Problems include lack of free internet access. (Internet would be useful in looking up books and posting bookclub updates on MMN)
Also, I suggest people who have a suggestion for book, bring a copy, so people can look at it.

Sounds good but...We would have to try to be kinda' quiet. Our group can tend to get a little loud.. ***Leela looks pointedly at herself*** *lol*

well...
Well, Ais, I don't know if you can count on me to come home every other weekend as a rule...but I do come home often. It's usually every other weekend to every two weekends (you know, 2 wknds at school, one at home, etc.). But I still want to be a part of the book club!! I can read along with you guys, and maybe put my two cents into your discussions here on the site

Wrenches in the works
Okay - here are the problems:
Barnes & Noble is a bookstore. If you bring books in it can look like you're stealing them when you leave.
Noise is another consideration. Perhaps the Smoothie King, or whatever that is near the B & N. That way, you could sit outside and walk over to B & N if you need a book.

Problem
Smoothies King is very small. And they have only a few chairs, if any at all, in my memory. It would be a difficult place to "hang out".

Actually this was Ais's idea! We can't do game night at a park because, dark parks aren't all that safe! But we could do the bookclub in the daytime! We could maybe hold bookclub meetings at a park! What do people think of that?

A problem yours truly thought of. It's getting colder outside!
Maybe a park for the first meeting, but after that we will have to find somewhere else to winter!
