Acting.
Hey, all! I just wanted to let you guys know that I'll be auditioning for an acting part next Monday in a play by the, "Thistledown Young Actors Theater."
The play is, "Alice in Wonderland" And I have no idea what part to try out for, and how auditioning works, so please pray for me with that! 
(Keep your fingers crossed, 'cause luck has nothing to do with it.)

Back from the first Audition!
I just got home from the first day of two days for auditioning! (The auditioning took longer than I thought it would, so I didn't end up getting to do fencing tonight. But that's okay!
)
Anyway, I don't know if I got a part yet or not. I will be able to find that out on Wednesday. Also I'm probably going to go back for some more auditioning tomorrow. (They invited the auditioners cordially to come back on the second night of auditioning.)
As for if I think I'll get a part, honestly, I think I have a pretty good chance! There we're just three or four more actors there who were better than me. (They we're amazing actors, so I'm sure that they'll get picked first.) But I was in among the, "Pretty good actors." That was someone who could read their lines with the intonations that the character in the play would normally say them, and not stumble on the words, or have my face completely wedged into the script. The poor actors were the little little kids who haven't properly learned to read yet, let alone read out loud. Or the kids that if they could read, they would whisper their lines or stumble on them so badly that you couldn't tell what the line was originally meant to be.
There are many possible characters in this play, so even if all the better actors were picked before me I think I'd probably end up in a role anyway! Now there is one more day of auditioning, so keep praying that God's will be done, whether He wants me in this play or not! Wish me luck, and I'll keep you guys updated!

I have been thinking positive! But I've been thinking, "I'll get the part!" So confidently, that I think I might be a little too disappointed if I don't get it!

Okay, on the signup sheet when I first went there, there was a space where they tell you the dates of rehearsal and ask you to list all possible conflicts. I listed Thursdays as a slight conflict because I have Gymnastics on Thursday nights, but I can easily get makeup classes for them.
After Auditioning tonight, (Which was the last auditioning night.) the lady leading the whole thing called me up to talk to her! So when I went up to her, she asked about the Thursday conflict!!!!! I told her that it could easily be changed, and she said good!!!!! And she only called like two kids up to her! I'm pretty sure that that means something VERY good and VERY promising!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!! I'm excited! Can you tell? YAYAY!!!
I'll find out tomorrow whether I have a part or not. In between 4:00 & 6:00 PM at the same theater the parts will be posted on the main desk.

Okay! My parts are I get to play the Doormouse, and I play a card, but I don't know what the card gets to do. But the doormouse is like, the perfect roll, and I'm Happy, Happy, Happy! And I think I could use a smotherhug now!!!!! Yay!

I'd really love it if maybe you could all come to the same show and we can make it a get-together afterward! Turns out I've got a little more of a part at the beginning of the script than I originally though! But no spoilers! You'll have to come and see for yourself!
PS: I'd suggest that the date that you all come be a later showing, like not the first show, because that way I will have more practice really doing it, and it might just be higher quality!
Later today I'll be doing a readthrough of the whole thing with the whole cast!

Okay, I'm going to try and plan when you can all come to a show. Ais will have started college by that time so we should all go to a Saturday show or a Sunday show.
Those dates would be October 4th, 5th, 11th or 12th. All the shows are start at 7:30 PM. The address of the theater is " 169 Hudson Ave. Newark, Ohio "
Those who want to can of course come to as many shows as they darn well please.
Please let me know which of the four dates listed above will work for you and I'll try to arrange for us all to get together.
(Note that this is all the way in October and it'll be awhile before we get to do this!
But if we plan ahead then hopefully we can avoid serious schedule conflicts.)

Yes, tickets do cost. the only amount that the lady told to me was $5 per ticket I'm not sure if there are different prices for different ages but there it is. Somewhere around $5.
PS(To Dragon): She said that Ages 19 and under can get into the plays so no worries for you!

Where and when and why
She heard of it from a flier that we received because Malex and I went to a play Madamlibrarian was in. It happened to be a seniors only play at Thistledown and the director took all the cast out to a restaurant afterwords cause it was the last show. We tagged along and got to talk with the director, and ended up giving her our mailing address so that we could possibly be involved in plays in the future(Not Malex of course. He's to old and bitter.
JK). The play was Murder in the Wings and Madamlibrarian, the username for the girl on this site, was playing a secretary. She also played the white witch in the play form of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
