"I know that there are those on this sight who are opposed to the movies because of a certain blue mutant..."
I was going to see the movie; I had even scheduled a time to see it with John.
I cancelled the appointment when I saw the objective content review, and realized that I was allowing my standards to slip.
I gotta tell ya, I was horrifed. The Malex Media Network's whole reason for existing is to displace stuff like this because it should not be acceptable to us!
My passion for that goal was what originally motivated my verbal rants against the first two X-Men movies, and to see myself so obviously forsaking that passion was, frankly, disgusting.
I'm not the kind of person who makes judgements on what other people should and shouldn't do in their free time, but I hope that those of us who see themselves as core Malex Media Network team members will examine their reasons for joining.
