oic, thanks for the clarification, Quartz. That does sound like it would be helpful, only I need a checkbox that will do the opposite: KEEP the chatbox from popping up all the time. I have a problem similar to Mr. Fnord. Everytime the chatbox refreshes, which is about every ten seconds, the chatbox pops up in front of all other windows. So every tens seconds, I have to stop what I am doing and click off of the chatbox to get back to what I was doing.
