Ok well big contest has been in the making in the cardistry world. It's called the CCC (Cardistry Collaboration Contest). This is where known Cardists (flourishers) team up in teams of 2 or 3 and try to make the best video possible. Well folks if I'm not mistaken I think we have a winner. I will admit this is just so incredible for me to watch these guys have so much skill. Hopefully I will be competing next year.

Ok folks I know I've kinda been in hiding the last month and here is part of the reason.

My church group is putting on an art show on OSU Campus. I will be performing some old and some new stuff at the art show. It will be held at the Drake Hall on Saturday April 26th from 7pm to 9pm. I would love for all / any of you to come out to this. As far as I know it is completely free. If you need directions contact me and I will make sure you have them.

The other part I've been in hiding for now once again must be hidden. Trust me it will be revealed soon enough.

First let me just say The Magic of the Night Show was incredible. Malex got a keep sake from the show, I got splashed with pumpkins seeds, and Stephen Knight tried to cut off Leela's head. We got to see some classics of magic and some very improvised stuff as well. Very nice show.

Well as for the new stuff. I got a gig! I will be at a local mall performing magic on black Friday (the day after thanksgiving). It will be the first big gig in a long time for me. I'm very excited about it. The gig will be me sitting out front of the store that hired me and performing close up for 6 hours.

Boy oh boy I recently have got a lot to blog about but I will save it for later. Right now I got some news for you medianites. There is a magic show in Columbus that I plan on attending. It is called Magic of the Night. The Artist is Stephen Knight. I do know him and have seen him perform before. He is very very good. I highly recommend that is you have Saturday the 27th free to come with me to this event. It is a seasonal themed show. No it is not celebrating Halloween but there will be some illusions themed off of it. Other Themes will be Eric Weiss (Houdini) who's death was on Oct 31st.

As promised I am going to give away a deck of Guardians. For reference these are the first edition that has sold out. The second edition will be different so they are a collector's item.

Well recently I have been taking my magic into a little higher gear trying to get as much filming done as I can for my videos. Malex Quartz and I filmed one trick / illusion after church on Sunday and things turned out very well. Hopefully we can get some more filming done.

Recently I was told about a new world champion laser illusionist. I was intrigued I went out and tried to find out who this guy was and what made him so good. Well I still don't know his last name, but his first name is Jason. I also have this video of his show. The guy is impressive and I honestly am having a hard time trying to figure out this routine.
