A few weeks ago, I came down with a sudden illness, and was unable to work for the Malex Media Network™ like I normally do for almost the entire week.
During this time, I seized the opportunity to do a series of paintings that I had been inspired to do before I became ill. I named the series God has Given us His Word. (<-- You'll need to select a larger size from the “max size” drop menu in order to see the pictures very well. “640x640” will probably be just fine.)
I kind of had a children's book in mind when I was designing the format. But this is only an illustration of the simplicity of the message, not the application. It is profound enough to apply to all ages.

It's really too bad that you can't see the pictures better; up close. They're so extremely beautiful.
Quartz, you did an amazing job.
And the theme is beautiful too.

You know how to raspberry, don't you Steve? You just put your tongue out and blow.

You can really, it's just kinda a confusing system. Ignoring the slideshow I linked to, you can click on the thumbnail picture I put in my blog, or click here. From there it's really simple - just click on a picture whenever you wanna zoom up, and you can do it multiple times. They get pretty big at full size.

Hey, I didn't think of that! Hmm... Yeah, this blog entry actually is on the front page, but I screwed something up and made it get shoved several items down so no one would notice it.
Thanks again both of you, that's really flattering!

very nice
the gnome would read the book...of course, the gnome just did...it captures a simple and eloquent truth which has seemingly endless depths and layers, beautiful colors, very nice
It doesn't stop being magic just because you learn how it's done.
Name a shrub after me...something prickly and hard to eradicate.
Thanks!

# 5 is my favorite. In the cart, the splicky is sleeping serenely, unaware of and unconcerned with the apparent danger. But if he were to step out of the protection of the cart, he would surely fall to his doom. How very like God's word.
