Rediculous Random Advertisement Because I'm Sick Of Hearing My Boss Complain About Lack Of Sales In This Area
OK, comic books and graphic novels are the hot trend right now. That being said, Moments With Majesty sells them. For those of you who enjoy this form of media, but don't like taking risks on new material because of what the content is likely to be, come to the Christian Bookstore and get perfectly good comic books and graphic novels that are safe to read. The selections are somewhat limited at present, but as sales increase, so will demand, and as demand increases, so will selection. My boss knows that the secular market is making a killing in this form of media, and he would like to see the Christian market similarly flourish. Unfortunately, most teens interested in this media don't know that we carry it. So, as I said, if you like comics and graphic novels, some check out what we have and let the owner know that you want more of it. What about graphic novels is generally so selective? I've never really read graphic novels, and I had no idea that the very concept behind them was so pervaded with such specificity in target audience...

Lots of pictures. Glossy paper. Action, action, action. Very few words. Bright colors. Graphic novels are the print medium's answer to video games.

Graphic novels are a quarter of a step from Comic Books to Literature. Just enough of a difference to make people feel good about themselves, but not enough of a difference to matter...

I bought some graphic novels a few months ago, but now they might have the whole series now
graphic novels were more comic booky than comic books
You have to find good ones, like Rurouni Kenshin
or Serenity (the series I bought at Moments w/ Majesty)
Comic books don't have plots alot of the time, and graphic novels are more likely to (especially manga) There are my 2 cents, and I will be purchasing some graphic novels in the next week or so
