Read this first...

In line with my new campaign against disorganization, clutter, and all those other pesky things that are keeping us from upgrading the site, I've closed the online store. This might seem like a drastic measure, but I've been meaning to do it for a while now.

Why? I'll tell you...

First, glitches in the shipping price calculation prevented us from offering cost-effective shipping methods. Second, the non-traditional user interface of the store confused newcomers to the site. Third, bugs in the store's (beta-quality) code made it difficult to use and difficult to administer.

Eventually, we will be opening a new storefront which addresses all of these issues. But I don't see that as a very high priority, so it might be a while. (In the mean time, please feel free to contact me if want to purchase one of our products. We can always work something out.)

By the way, you may have noticed a number of other minor changes to the site too. This is all part of my new campaign to upgrade the site. Feel free to speak up if you notice something weird or annoying, but rest assured, everything is going according to plan...
