Hairspray

Well, it's been a long week, but the weekend is finally here!

PT was brutal this morning. I'm definitely going to be sore for a couple of days.

I met this girl Lindsay and we've been hanging out lately. Tommorrow we're taking the strassebahn down to Heidelburg. She's really cool and she's become one of my closest friends because other than Adkins I don't really know anybody here.

Tonight she made me see the musical "Hairspray", which has John Travolta pretending to be a 400 pound woman. I do not recommend seeing this movie unless you like that sort of thing or you just plain don't like living.

The week after next I'm starting my OJT, which is where I ride around in the cop car with a partner and learn hands on how to do the job. Then on the 28th I have to requalify with the .9mm.

That movie is also extremely liberal. I will admit I only read this, but the source is one I respect very highly and have agreed with time and time again. And to those of you who care it was WORLD magazine.

Does Lindsay speak English? Or do you speak German? Is she a Christian? How old is she? I'm praying for you, Ice, real hard. I'm sure you'll do well with the .9mm.

Yes, she speaks English. And I speak a little German now. She's not a Christian but I want to invite her to church tommorrow. She's a year older than me. And yeah, I rock with the 9 mill.

Mrs. Morgan has been keeping me updated on your status the past couple of weeks. Sounds like you're doing well! :-) Have you found a good church where you can fellowship with other people? I'm really glad that you have that Skyscape thing. It must be very encouraging to be able to call back home fairly regularly. So, what is Germany like? Have you done any site seeing?
