A bird in a cage. But which is real and which is imaginary?

Cuckoo Cage is a hilarious short film which our team conceived, cast, produced, scored, and edited in a matter of 24 hours for a 24-hour film festival in 2007.

It is presented here for you to laugh at. Mirthfully. None of that malevolent, judgmental laughter will be tolerated.

Eternity

Ecclesiastes is, oddly enough, my favorite book of the Bible. It's so beautiful and poetic that it never fails to evoke beautiful images in my mind, bringing God's Word to life for me in a language I can understand.

During my reading, I came across this verse. “...Also He has put eternity in their hearts,...” Eccl. 3:11

It instantly brought to mind this image; the burning light of an eternal soul. The heart of mankind. The touch of God. And a destiny yet unfulfilled.

Linus ticks somebody off. Also, an old acquaintance shows up. (So yeah, nothing new.) Give it a listen and let us know what you think.

Please note that all of this old media is presented here for historical purposes only, and may not meet our current standards of quality.

Nomad II: Trapped was my second video game. Finally released in late 2003 after nearly two years of work, Nomad II contained 40 designed levels, 20 personalized save slots, a competitive scoring system, and a random level generation algorithm that could keep a player busy forever.

By this time, the entity that would eventually become the Malex Media Network was almost fully grown. As a team, we managed to put together a series of character sprites based on live action video, we managed to produce actual sound and music, and to top it all off, we managed to get runner-up in a amateur coding competition.

Lyrics: One little flicker does nothing alone. / But joined by many, we'll light up the world. / I'm not afraid of the dark...

This poem was first written as a short story. But a little modification turned it into a rather nice poem. It's a lament, with a sarcastic under-tone, for the blindness of man toward his own fallen nature.

Justice And His Legendary March Against Evil: Part One

Plot Synopsis: Justice, a wandering soul who is looking to wage war against evil, runs into a slight snag when he discovers a girl in the woods. He may be slightly annoyed when this girl chooses to follow him, but will she end up saving him from an embarrassing predicament?

Notes: Vaguely psychotic characters, snappy dialog, a ridiculous slap-fight, and water balloons. Who could ask for more? This is the Malex Media Network's first short film, and it is being made available for free as an internet download.
